A Natural Remedy For Hair Loss
At some point in our lives most of us will suffer massive hair loss. There are several medical conditions which could be the route of the case, that can be treated rather easily. But, there are also several natural remedies that could help other causes. The natural normal loss of hair usually ranges from 50 to 100 hairs a day. However, there are many people who loose alot more, and there could be a simple cause.
Men and womens reasons for hair loss can be several different factors. Even though men and women seem to suffer from baldness in different patterns the remedies are the same. There are times when someone experiences hair loss that is causes from an existing medical condition which requires medical care but there are other times when they just need to take a few simple steps in their lives to promote healthy hair growth and prevent loss of hair.
Some balding suffers are simply suffering from inadequate diets, vitamin deficiency or excessive vitamin A in their diets. Many of the causes of balding can be fixed with a few tweaks to the diet or through introducing a daily vitamin or mineral.
Male patterned baldness is the leading cause of balding throughout the county. While the name refers to men it can also be seen in women. However, the pattern of balding between the two sexes differs. In men you can see the pattern of their balding from the front hair line back to the crown of their heads. Women seem to shed throughout their entire head.
DHT, a hormone produced by the body actually causes male patterned baldness. The hormone is released into the blood stream and chokes the healthy hair follicle until it is lost. So many people continue to search for a solution to their balding problems.
The FDA has approved an ingredient to be used for re-growing lost hair called Minoxidil. Minoxidil actually works against the hormone DHT, to prevent the choking of healthy hair follicles. The ingredient also works to stimulate blood vessels and promote re-growth of dead hair.
There are several healthy steps we could all take to prevent excessive hair loss, such as introducing B6, Folic Acid and niacin into our daily rituals. We could also add some zinc and magnesium to our daily diets that would promote healthy hair growth.
Men can have problems with their testosterone converting into DHT, and a natural way to try to prevent that from happening is to add Saw Palmetto into the daily diet. Saw Palmetto is an herb, which has been used for prostate problems, but other studies show it can also help with treating men and women suffering from balding.
Excessive loss of hair is in almost everyones future. There are many different causes and solutions. While some people will suffer hair loss as a result of a medical condition and will require trained medical care, there are others who can easily adjust their diets or daily regimens and promote healthy hair growth.
